Me:  Finley, Mommy and Daddy get to do something very important today!
Finley:  What?
Me:  We get to vote for the President of the United States!

Happy Halloween

We missed the Halloween Parade in Medford while we were in FL...which means we missed out on Trick or Treating!  And because Halloween fell on Wednesday this year (Awana night at church) we had to make our own rules, and take the kids Trick or Treating on Thursday night.  Yes, in November! :)

 

Finley changed her mind at the last minute and chose to be a ladybug rather than Wonder Woman!

It took quite a discussion between her and I, but I finally convinced her that she HAD to wear a shirt and leggings under the costume before we could leave the house! :)

Ace chose to be a puppy this year...

The banana costumes did not make it out this year for the dogs...getting three kids ready and out the door took longer than I expected!

We had a total of four houses on our list...

So thankful for neighbors that open their homes to us!

The Beach

We took Finley and Ace to Clearwater Beach on Thursday of last week.  They absolutely loved it!

This creeps me out...Ace is chasing a flock of seagulls! 

These birds just lurk around in hopes of catching a crumb. 

But it was their lucky day...a lady right next to us decided to throw them some bread! 

As soon as she opened the bag, it felt like we were being attacked by these gross, white birds!  :)

Ace loved it...he chased them and tried so hard to catch one!

When I asked him what he would have done if he had caught one, he responded with

"I would pet it mommy!"  :)
