Snow!

We woke up this morning to snow on the ground and in the air...the kids were SO excited!  Mommy & Daddy and the dogs...not so excited!  :)

Another failed attempt at a good pic of more than one kiddo!  :)

Lucky Kids!

I took the kids with to Wal-Mart the other day and allowed them to pick out new toothbrushes...I don't remember having anything like this when I was little!

Finley picked out Hello Kitty...

...and Ace chose Thomas!

I do remember having Act or Plax once when I was little...but that bottle only lasted a day or so, right mom & dad?!  :)

Conversation

Finley got a new book last weekend that talks about "the Royal Family and their Butler".  She asked what a butler was and I described him as someone that helps the royal family.  She looked at me still puzzled.  So I went deeper and said that it was his "job" to help the royal family by running errands or doing chores.  [still puzzled...]

Mommy:  "Papa's job is being an eye doctor, Daddy's job is being a banker, Mommy's job is being a secretary..."

Finley (interupting):  "Does that mean you get to eat suckers all day?"

Mommy (laughing):  "No, SECRETARY!"

Finley:  "What is Luke's job?"

Mommy:  "He is a pastor, he teaches others about God."

Finley:  "Oh, does he wear striped shirts for his uniform?"

I could only laugh and hug my sweet, innocent girly at that point!

Ace-Man!

Princesses

Finley was SO excited to see her cousins last weekend...those girls always pick up where they left off.  It makes my heart so happy to see the bonds forming between the girls!

Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora all made appearances at Nana & Papa's!

Concentration is all over Cinderella's face!

 Miss Aurora (aka...AVA)!

Tears were shed when it was time to say "goodbye for now"!

Buds!

Finley and Ace snuggled up next to each other before bed.  They are such good buddies...and Ace must be pretty special to Finley for her to share her blanket with him!  :)

One Month

WOW - AJ is one month old!  Where did that time go?  He is a very content baby...so long as he is being held!  :)  He is very snuggly, still curls up in a tight little ball, and loves to eat!  Packed away are the newborn clothes and he is now in 3 month clothes!  He seems like a big boy to me!  We have appointments next week and I am very curious to find out how he's grown.  We are enjoying our days together and look forward to the evenings when all are home together.  I cannot believe my maternity leave is more than half over, but I do look forward to returning to work and falling into more of a routine.

AJ resembles his older sister and brother, but he does look different.  I don't remember the other two being so dark or them having blue eyes.  He has the cutest chin dimple and just might have dimples in his cheeks one day!

It also seems like he has very large hands and feet...and yes, according to Brent, got my long toes!

That Girl!

Why do they make tights like this?  They were the same way almost 30 years ago!

Halloween Day

So October 31 was the 4th day our kids celebrated Halloween...first the party at daycare, the party at church, the parade, and then the actual day!  How lucky are they!?!?  Finley also got to wear her Wonder Woman costume to dance class last night!

AJ just wore a onesie for Halloween...and I ate extra chocolate yesterday for his "treat"!

Is it possible to get a good photo of all three?  :)

After supper, the kids got their "treats" from Mommy & Daddy...Ace went first since he was done eating first!

 A big bag of gummies!

 Big cheeks full of gummies!

Finley checking out her treats...now in her jammies since she takes so long to eat most nights!  Ha!

 A book starring Finley!

Mommy & Daddy did good!  SMILES all around last night!

Halloween Parade

Brent took Finley & Ace to the Halloween Parade on Sunday afternoon...of course it was cold and raining.  Note to self, always buy costumes a couple sizes big to fit a snowsuit under!  :)

We dug out Finley's old monkey costume for Ace to wear to the parade...more clothes fit under it!

He enjoyed looking at himself in the mirror...and Finley enjoyed seeing him in her old costume!

Still looking good with all the layers underneath!

Wonder Woman is now in the dress up basket...waiting to "save the day"!

Trunk or Treat

We took our kids to church on Saturday evening for a dinner of pizza followed by "Trunk or Treating" in the parking lot.  Finley chose their costumes this year...Wonder Woman & Superman!  They were so cute together!  I was also proud of how polite they both were...told everyone "thank you" after receiving their treat!

It's blurry, but the only one they would both stand still for!

Fly Superman, Fly!

Halloween Party

The kids celebrated Halloween with a party at Lynn's last Thursday...and of course came home with some "treats"!

 Whoo Whoo

Reaching in to see what's inside...

Treat bags filled with candy, popcorn, and Cheetos!  :)

Gift

A package arrived in the mail the other day for AJ with a beautiful baby blanket (that matches the boys room perfectly!) and a Packer hat...Ace instantly put the hat on and wore it around the house that afternoon.  He looked so cute in it and very grown up!

Good Habits

With flu season upon us, we've been trying to get the kids in the habit of washing their hands as soon as they get home.  Of course, it's more fun for the both of them to do it together!

Splash!

Smiles

Sure it's probably just gas...but a smile is a smile!

Woof Woof

Yesterday morning I had the dogs outside to go "potty"...and I forgot about them...well after a couple hours Rookie started barking, and would not stop!  I went outside, found Rookie, but could only find Lambeau's collar...Lambeau was gone!  After calling and whistling for him for a couple minutes I saw his tail wagging in our neighbors back yard!

Thank you Rookie for letting me know that Lambeau had run off!  :)

Halloween is Almost Here!

Finley was excited to open a "treat" from Uncle Mike!

Ace was just as excited!  I can't help but smile at this!

I took Finley to the store last night where she chose something to buy with her "treat"...a new book!  I wonder what Ace will choose?

A jack-o-lantern that Finley made with Lynn...

 ...and a ghost...

 ...and a bat!

 Ghosts in our living room!

BOOOO!
