Fill Up the Pool!

We finally broke out the pool...and the kiddos had a great time!  I would say IN it...but really, they played more outside of the pool than they did IN it!  They dug a "canal", filled up their watering cans and watered my plants, squirted mom and dad as many times as they could without being too obvious, etc!

Don't even think about it!

The water is SO cold mom!

Finley was jumping in the pool and Ace would "accidentally" spray her with the hose!

Finley decided that our pool was way more fun than the city pool where
Daddy took her for a swimming lesson!  Uff!  :)

Silly kids!

Having so much fun!

Soccer

Finley has been playing soccer for the last month.  Each week she gets a little more aggressive on the field.  After every practice she is full of smiles and stories...the same is true after each game!

I wonder if Finley realizes the girl on her left is on her team...looks like they are both throwing
an elbow at each other!  :)  Brent and I did take some time the other night and taught her a
good "box out" move that probably applies to soccer to!

She is so much fun to watch!
She has a very nice team and her coach is great with the kids!

Love this action shot!

Whee!

Hang on AJ!

Ha!  So cute!

What a nice sister...pushing her brothers around and around!

They all play so well together!

The Boys

These guys have enjoyed spending time lounging around in our yard...not as often as they would like because of all the rain, but it's more fun to bark at squirrels and birds outside rather than through the windows!

Pretty boy...

...Lambeau!

Silly guy...

...Rookie!

A Day at the Zoo

We took advantage of a beautiful Sunday afternoon and took the kids to the zoo...

Excited to see what's behind the gates!

The first thing we saw was a giant turtle!

Followed by the cutest little goats...

Who enjoyed chewing on our stroller!

This one must have been the mom...a bit more aggressive and definitely well fed!

Finley was brave and held a jumpy little bunny!

Quite the crew!

This deer ate a cracker right out of Finley's hand...

...and Ace couldn't figure out why it wouldn't take the cracker from his hand!

After she finished chewing the first one...she took the cracker from Ace! :)

The kids enjoyed feeding the birds...

...there were A LOT of birds in a very small space!

I wonder where the guard rail is that the yellow sign is referring to?  :)

Happy Father's Day

Finley and I had gone shopping for Brent about two weeks before Father's Day.  She was SO excited to pick out a tie all by herself to give him...and yes, it was PINK!  And yes, he LOVED it!

Our kids are pretty lucky...

To have such a wonderful dad!  :)

He's Our Third...

Sometimes we are all in survival mode!  Ha!

Pre-K is Complete!

Finley had her last day of Pre-K on Wednesday!  The school year went by so fast!  She enjoyed school and matured so much over the year.  She said her favorite thing about school was "playing with my friends."  Her least favorite part of school was "CLC" (the after school program).  She never complained about school lunch and enjoyed three recesses per day...and two chocolate milks!  :)  On Wednesday night at supper she admitted to getting into trouble one day at recess for going on the ice when told not to, but "I was only following Isabella!"  HA!

Excited for her last day of school!

Our little girl is growing too fast!

And she adores these two boys...

...and I think they both feel the same toward her!

"Flowers"

Kids seem to love dandelions...I remember loving them as a child.  And now watching how excited my kids get when they bring me a "flower" that they have picked, melts my heart!  Even though I really do not like the smell of dandelions...or how sticky the stems always seem to be...I still give the kids an excited reaction!  The other night at soccer practice, Ace and AJ along with another three-year-old,  picked dandelions for almost the entire 45 minutes!  Now the yellow flowers have turned into white cotton balls...

Is she making a wish?

And is he eating the whiteness...or making a wish too?

HA!  Must be a big wish!
