Merry Christmas Ace!

Ace is ALL boy...he loves trucks, cars, tractors, trains, etc.  He came home Christmas Eve with a new John Deere Tractor, a race track, some Thomas accessories, and probably his favorite gift - a Thomas Pillow Pet!  (I didn't have a picture of him with it...but will take one soon!)

The kids got flashlights in their stockings from Santa...Ace was shining some light on his new train cars!  :)

 CHOO CHOO!

Ace got a train "car" that is named Jack - I think it's his favorite because it's part-train, part-tractor!  :)

Opening his present from Mommy & Daddy...

 A train table!

Even Miss Finley thought it was a pretty cool gift!

Racing the "wheelie" cars down the track!

 "This is so much fun!"

Ace was diagnosed with a sinus infection at the beginning of last week, but the little guy was a trooper all week!  Our schedules were thrown off, many late nights, missed naps, etc.  But that smile remained on his face!

Last night we were driving home and I purposely took a different route to show the boys a street lined with Christmas lights...Brent and Finley were following behind us...about half-way down the street I realized both boys were snoring in the backseat!  It was only 5 pm!  :)

Merry Christmas Finley!

Finley woke up last Friday morning BEGGING to open presents...I resisted all temptation and insisted she wait until it was Christmas!  :)

5 of the Granddaughters got special presents this year from Nana & Papa...

 "What is it Finley?"

I think she contained her excitement well!  :)

Turning to show Mommy & Daddy what she opened!

A doll that looks just like Finley!

Even Daddy knows how to dress her!

 And they have matching jammers!

On Christmas Day Finley was able to read the names on the gift tags and distribute the presents!  She is getting SO big SO fast!

Flipping through a Princess book from her brothers.

Happy to show off a new horse book from Miss Lynn!

There have been many concerts in her room from Princess Tiana!

 A Princess Party!

Princess Tiana visiting Fancy Nancy's bedroom!

Finley was very thankful for all her gifts...and very excited about all of them as well!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve in Medford with the whole Arndt clan...there are now 9 grandkids (6 girls and 3 boys) in the mix.  It was a fun evening filled with much excitement, happy little voices, and too many gifts!  :)
Miss Finley looked very pretty in her Christmas dress!
And of course had to break out the Wonder Woman pose!
I gave up control of the camera to get some pictures of myself with the kiddos...
 Nice one of Finley...
 ...sort of cute of Ace...
...best attempt and of course, blurry!  :)
Auntie KoKo with her little bud!
Mr. AJ was very content and even sat through the church service...I suppose it helped that we were a good 1/2 hour late!  OOPS!
AJ was hard to buy for this year...and it happens to us every year, we lose a present...well wouldn't you know it, one of his gifts got thrown out in the garbage!  Poor little bugger really did get the short straw this year...good thing he won't remember!
AJ & Great-Grandma Carol in their matching outfits!  :)

White Elephant Gift

I attended an Ugly Sweater Party after work one night last week...and came home with two white elephant gifts!  One I knew Finley would love and another that would probably cause me to lose my blogger account!  Ha!

I knew as soon as I saw the cute, little reindeer that my girly would love them!

So thank you to my friend, Kathy, for sharing with Miss Finley!  :)

Mmmm...Cake Pops!

The kids enjoyed some "reindeer" cake pops one evening...the pretzel ears came off first!  Then Ace preceded to put the whole "pop" into his mouth!

And there it goes!  :)

Present?

Soaking up some sunshine...and looking like a perfect little present under our tree!  Gotta love Lambeau!  :)

Christmas Song

Finley's Sunday School class sang this morning in Church.  Our little girlie did a wonderful job!

Ace and I went to 2nd Service and watched Finley sing.  He stood on my lap and waved and waved...he couldn't figure out why she wouldn't wave back at him!  She said she didn't see him until after she was done!  :)

Finley chose to NOT wear an angel costume or shepherd costume...she wasn't alone, I think there were a couple other girls that chose not to as well!  :)

She did wear the angel "halo"!  :)

Mommy's Little Helper!

Brent and Ace went on a little trip last week and Finley and I stayed home to take care of AJ.  She is such a big help and absolutely loves her baby brother!  She felt very special on Thurs. evening when I allowed her to give AJ a bath.

Finley, I don't think your little brothers have any idea how lucky they are to have you for a big sister!  One day I know they will...I just hope you can be patient until that day comes!  :)
