Woof Woof
Yesterday morning I had the dogs outside to go "potty"...and I forgot about them...well after a couple hours Rookie started barking, and would not stop! I went outside, found Rookie, but could only find Lambeau's collar...Lambeau was gone! After calling and whistling for him for a couple minutes I saw his tail wagging in our neighbors back yard!
Thank you Rookie for letting me know that Lambeau had run off! :)
Halloween is Almost Here!
Finley was excited to open a "treat" from Uncle Mike!
Ace was just as excited! I can't help but smile at this!
I took Finley to the store last night where she chose something to buy with her "treat"...a new book! I wonder what Ace will choose?
A jack-o-lantern that Finley made with Lynn...
...and a ghost...
...and a bat!
Ghosts in our living room!
BOOOO!
Silly Boy
Ace has such a silly personality...he loves to tease Finley and eggs Brent and I on all the time.
His big, dark eyes melt my heart!
He was hiding from Finley as he ate his bedtime snack...an apple. Silly!
Hiding in the corner now from her!
Finley and AJ
Finley tells me a handful of times everyday how thankful she is for her new baby brother. She has to kiss him on the head every night before bed, tells him to sleep good, and then hugs him saying, "I love you little buddy AJ!"
Daddy's Home
Daddy got home Sunday afternoon...gone was his beard, but a mustache remained!
Proudly wearing Daddy's hunting hat!
Moment of Silence?
The other night I was nursing AJ when someone started pounding on our bedroom door...this is what I found when I opened the door!
Go Badgers!
Running like the UW-Madison football players! Go Ace!!!
You'd never know by these pictures how sick this little guy has been...he was diagnosed last Monday evening with a double ear infection and put on antibiotics. By Thursday he was absolutely miserable! He was extremely clingy, whiney, and on edge! The antibiotics gave him very messy diapers and a rash that covered his face and chest/stomach. Thankfully he seemed back to "normal" yesterday and woke up early this morning ready to go!
Technology
Our kids thought Grandma Mari's i-phone was pretty cool...until Grandpa showed up with an i-pad!
Finley enjoyed coloring, playing games, making silly faces at the camera...and even taught me how to play a game! She'll get me up to speed one day with all this technology! :)
Silly Kids
Lambeau & Rookie need monkey jammers!
Finley was pretending to sleep and Ace wanted no part of sleeping! :)
Those 2!
Pretending to snore with Grandpa!
Storytime with Grandpa!
Games with Grandpa! Who knew a balloon could be so fun!
Hunting Trip
Brent went on his annual pheasant hunting trip last Thursday and returned home on Sunday. He was tired, but said fun was had by all. He did complain about how "hot" it was in Iowa...I don't think complaints should be made about hot weather in October! :)
Ethan was able to join the traditions this year!
The hunting clan
Brent told me that he slept next to a "hot nurse" while in Iowa...luckily I am a quick thinking and knew he was talking about Karl right away! HA HA Brent! :)
Company
My Dad got to meet AJ last Thursday afternoon!
As did my Grammy...who held him for a solid 3 days in a row! :)
Evening Fun
The picture doesn't lie...AJ is really that dark! Cute kids!
Fun before bed with Grandma's i-phone!
Uh Oh!
Finley was a thumb sucker, but not until about 3 months. Ace didn't suck his thumb or a nuk. Finally, Brent and I have a baby that takes a pacifier - AJ!
I hope this isn't the start of something new for Ace! :)

Grandma is Here!
We were all anxious to see Grandma...we look forward to spending the next week with her...and I am thankful for the extra set of hands!
1 Week Checkup
At AJ's one week checkup appointment he had already reached his birth weight again of 8.9 lbs. He is a hungry boy! :) Now, if only we could get the night time sleeping down!

Day Job
The nurses sent us home on Saturday with a CD of photos they had taken of AJ. I couldn't help but laugh as I looked through some of them tonight...I have included some of the best and worst on the disc! :) I think they should stick to what they do best...nursing care!
